Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc becomes the first Vietnamese to win the Miss Intercontinental crown. She is 21 years old and hails from the city of Can Tho. This year’s pageant was held at Meraki Resort in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. Finishing as first runner-up is Puerto Rico’s Mariela Pepin while Brazil’s Maria Cecília de Sousa is the second runner-up. Nigeria’s Joy Raimi Mojisoha (3rd runner-up), Germany’s Tatjana Genrich (4th runner-up) and Venezuela’s Emmy Carrero (5th runner-up) completed the Top 6.
